Our story

Born in the Himalayas

A centuries-old recipe, made for modern dogs.

High in the mountains of Nepal, families have made hard yak cheese — churpi — for generations. We took that tradition, kept it exactly as simple as it always was, and made it the best long-lasting chew your dog has ever met.

Made in Nepal est. tradition

Where it comes from

Simple, because it always was

At over 4,000 metres, yaks graze on wild mountain grasses. Their milk is richer and higher in protein than anything a factory can make. For centuries, Himalayan herders have turned that milk into a hard, dryable cheese that keeps for months without a fridge — the perfect food for long treks through the mountains.

Turns out, what kept mountain families going is exactly what a determined chewer needs: rock-hard, protein-packed, and made from real food. We didn’t invent anything. We just refused to add anything.

Hand-made, start to finish

How every chew is made

Milk collected

Fresh yak and cow milk is gathered from free-roaming high-altitude herds.

Cheese formed

The milk is curdled with a little lime juice and salt — the traditional way, no chemicals.

Sun-dried & smoked

Blocks are pressed, then slowly dried and smoked until rock-hard over several weeks.

Cut & packed

Each chew is hand-cut to size, checked, and packed with care for the journey to you.
